Support Your Library

Support the library — make a gift today!

Our Impact

When you support the Everett Public Library, you are providing crucial support for a wide range of Library programs and services that receive little or no public funding. Public funding pays only a portion of the Library's operating expenses. We depend on support from individuals like you to support summer reading, adult programming, technology access, and so much more. Your gift helps keep these vital services FREE for all of Everett.

We also accept donations to the fish fund, which helps us maintain the aquarium and care for the fish at the Main Library. Look for the donation box next to the aquarium or donate through the online form and include a note to indicate you want your donation to go towards the fish fund.

Donations to Everett Public Library are tax-deductible per IRS Code 26 U.S.C. 170(c)(1). Our EIN is 91-6001248.

Everett Public Library honors matching funds donated by your employer.

For assistance and questions about donations, please contact Abigail Cooley, Library Director, at acooley@everettwa.gov

Library Endowments through the Community Foundation of Snohomish County

The Library has a number of endowments managed by the Community Foundation of Snohomish County. Interest from these endowments is used to support a variety of programs and collections.

For more information on our endowments, how to contribute to an existing endowment, or how to establish one, please contact the Community Foundation of Snohomish County at 425-212-4056.

Library Booksale

Libraries continually rotate out older books to make space for incoming new titles. Visit the Main Library's coffee shop to browse used books available to purchase. In 2024, our booksale raised $9,410 to support the library!

The library is not able to accept donated items for the booksale at this time due to a significant backlog. We are overwhelmed by our community's generosity.

Friends of the Everett Public Library

Friends of the Library is an independent, volunteer support group created by members of the community to provide advocacy, community outreach and financial support. Visit the Friends of the Library page for information about membership and meetings.

Volunteer

We are not accepting new volunteer applications at this time. Keep checking our Volunteer page for information about any potential openings in our volunteer program.
