Lawyers in the Library Legal Clinic with Snohomish County Legal Services (March 12)

  2. Sign up for the Lawyers in the Library legal clinic on March 12, 4-6 p.m. at the Evergreen Branch Library, 9512 Evergreen Way. Appointments are highly recommended. A limited number of walk-in appointments may be available the day of the clinic, but walk-in assistance is not guaranteed.

    If you have an urgent legal need, please call the CLEAR line at 1-888-201-1014 weekdays between 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. or apply online at nwjustice.org. Snohomish County Legal Services (SCLS) provides other free legal aid clinics. Find more information online on the "events" page at snocolegal.org

    For immediate housing legal assistance, visit the SCLS Housing Justice Project (HJP) Walk-up Clinic located at the Snohomish County Superior Court, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett. The SCLS HJP Clinic is open 9-11 a.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays or other court closures.

    To participate in this free clinic, you must be eligible for services. Eligibility requirements include (but are not limited to):

    • You must be a Snohomish County resident
    • You must be low-income (at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level OR at or below 80% of the Area Median Income), for household size, regardless of income source. Household size includes all of those who reside on the premises, and who share living expenses, food, rent, bills, etc. Household income includes gross amount for each source of income for ALL who contribute to your household finances.

    Note: Services are provided regardless of citizenship or immigration status. 

    Please answer the pre-screening questions below to help determine eligibility. This information will be kept confidential and used only to verify eligibility to participate in the clinic and receive free legal aid services from SCLS. If you are not eligible, library staff will contact you to provide other resources.
