Sea Songs, New and Old

William Pint and Felicia Dale give a free concert of traditional and contemporary nautical songs
Whether they are singing contemporary songs with maritime themes or the old sea shanties of the Age of Sail, Pint & Dale deliver a high energy performance with dynamic vocals and exciting instrumental fireworks. Early music to modern – traditional to contemporary, heart wrenching to downright silly. It’s hard to believe that two people can make so much music.
Felicia Dale was raised on Vashon Island, the daughter of a sea captain. She is steeped in the songs of the French seafaring tradition, as her mother was Parisian and her first language French. William Pint’s love of seafaring music led him to form such foundational Northwest Bands as Morrigan, and Copperfield. For a time he played with the band Ellipsis, which combined minimalist, folk, and classical pieces.
