Everett Public Library will partner with WorkForce Snohomish to host two informational workshops for jobseekers. These "Entry to Apprenticeship” workshops are designed for anyone seeking information about how to qualify for paid apprenticeship opportunities in well-paying trades like construction, boilermaking, bricklaying, and more.
The first workshop will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, December 4, at the Evergreen Branch Library, 9512 Evergreen Way, in Everett. The second workshop will be held at 6 pm on Monday, December 17, at the Main Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave., in Everett.
The "Entry to Apprenticeship" workshops will explain what apprenticeship programs are and will introduce a variety of trades that offer apprenticeship programs to train future skilled workers. Workshop participants will learn about the benefits of apprenticeships, the minimum requirements, necessary documentation, and application and selection processes. If you're interested in a career—and not just a job—stop by a workshop and find out if an apprenticeship is the right opportunity for you.
These workshops, presented by experts at WorkForce Snohomish, are free and open to the public. No registration is required. For further information, contact 425-257-8250 or visit https://www.epls.org.
