Diwali Diya Art with Deepti Agrawal (Evergreen Branch)

Saturday, October 28, 2023

2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Learn about Diwali, the festival of lights, which is celebrated in India and around the world in November. As a tradition, rows of oil lamps or diyas are lit on the Diwali day which represent the triumph of light over dark and good over evil. Come paint your own Diya plate as a keepsake to take home.

Deepti Agrawal, a Governor’s Art and Heritage Award Honoree in 2022, is an artist, designer and a specialist of Madhubani Painting, a folk art from India.

This program is for adults. Space is limited. Sign up here beginning on Sept 28.
