Postponed: All About Bats (Main Library)

Thursday, September 28, 2023

6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

This program has been rescheduled to November 2nd

Bats are highly beneficial to people. As predators of night-flying insects (including mosquitoes!), bats play a role in preserving the natural balance of our environments. We'll be joined by wildlife habitat specialist Niki Desautels from the Department of Fish and Wildlife, who will share information about how bats move, sound, and contribute to our ecosystem. Participants will understand how to identify bats in their communities and learn ways to participate in scientific research from their own backyards.
