In the 1990s, Seattle took the music world by storm with a newfangled brand of rock and roll called grunge. But what of the many other Northwest bands that have existed over the years? The Ventures, the Sonics, the Heats, Mondo Vita, Huge Spacebird, Pleasureboaters, the Boss Martians. Ron Averill, Everett musician and Pacific Northwest music historian, will introduce you to the Everett Public Library’s local CD collection and to some of the many bands that have graced our fair state over the years.  Prepare yourself for music history, clips of fabulous songs, and a live performance by Everett’s own Oliver Elf Army.
