All things Frankenstein on this, the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley's iconic book.
Day one of "Frankenfest" tells the dark story of the creation of Frankenstein: The Modern Prometheus, and includes curated showings of James Whale’s nightmarish 1931 film Frankenstein and his 1935 follow-up masterpiece Bride of Frankenstein. For the kids there will be a workshop on making a grody green goo known as “Frankenslime.” Also, sometime during the day, there will be an appearance by the monster himself!
