The Everett Public Library and the Washington State Library have microfilm for the Everett Herald from 1901 to the present. If you live outside the Everett area and cannot come into the library to look for an obituary in the Herald, please contact the Washington State Library.
The Washington State Library will research obituaries if the name and date of death are provided, will make photocopies or digital scans free of charge, and will send them to you or to your local library. Click here for the Washington State Library's obituary research services website.
The Washington State Library also makes microfilm rolls available for interlibrary loan. Click here for contact information that your local library can use to request microfilm rolls from the Washington State Library.
