About the Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Everett Public Library is a group of local citizens
interested in supporting the library through activities, programs, and
services. Annual membership dues (Membership Form
PDF) and money raised by the Friends is invaluable in improving service to
Everett residents. Friends also volunteer time to promote the library.
Recent projects and programs funded by the Friends:

Author events for Reading in the Rain, an
adult reading program

Books and prizes for the children’s
Summer Reading Program

Performers for Librarypalooza Street Fair

Purchased book group sets to support book clubs
Recent volunteer activities:

Assist with Mayor’s Award Ceremony, the
culmination of the Summer Reading Program.

Hand out cookies during National Library Week

Help with Librarypalooza, including making and
giving away sno-cones
Membership Benefits & Meetings
Members get the satisfaction of helping enhance
library service, enjoy lively (but brief) meetings, and receive a
newsletter approximately three times a year filled with book reviews
and exciting library news.
The Friends meet on the second Tuesday of the month, in the library
director’s office of the Main Library. Call 425.257.8022 for more
