Literary Elements: Everett Public Library Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2014

The challenge is open to those age 17 and older, and the program starts June first and runs through August thirty-first

  1. Read on for details, then sign-up online

  2. Choose Adult Summer Reading 2014

  3. Enter your library card information. That's it!

As you finish reading books, log in and enter the titles.
The system will let you know when you are eligible for a prize.

You may also visit either the Main Library or Evergreen Branch reference desk to register and pick up a paper book log to keep track of the titles you read.

  • After the 1st book you read, a library-branded microfiber cloth great for cleaning your smart phone screen, monitor, or eyeglasses

  • After the 3rd book you read, a refrigerator magnet clip

  • After the 5th book you read, a Friends of the Library tote bag

After registering for the program, pick up a Literary Elements Game Card at the library. Turn in your completed game card for a chance to win the grand prize - a Kindle Paperwhite. One game card entry per cardholder. See the game card to find out how to get a bonus entry.

FIND AND READ GOOD BOOKS!

Let us help you meet your summer reading goals - explore books, including fiction or nonfiction, new or not-so-new releases. Your choice! If you prefer, pick up some music CDs, a movie, or an audiobook; the library has those as well. If you're stumped, ask a librarian for suggestions. In a hurry? Look for themed book displays in the library throughout the summer.

WRITE A REVIEW FOR A CHANCE TO BE PUBLISHED!

Share your summer reads by writing reviews. Submit original reviews of the titles you read during the summer, and we might add yours to our blog, "A Reading Life."
