Dig Into Reading

June 1st - August 31st, 2013

Register starting June 1st

Fill out a registration form at either the Main Library or Evergreen Branch reference desk. You will receive a bookmark to use as a log for keeping track of the titles you read.

Find and Read Good Books!

We are here to help you meet your summer reading goals! Check out our Resources for Readers web page. Ask a librarian about using Novelist Plus, an online tool provided by your library that makes reading recommendations based on your interests.
In a hurry? Look for themed book displays in the library throughout the summer.

Write a Review for a Chance to be Published!

Have you read a book and want to tell the world about it? Submit original reviews of the titles you read during the summer, and we might add yours to our blog, A Reading Life. You can get a review form online, or pick up a paper form from any EPL information desk.

Collect Your Prizes!

  • After the 1st book you read, the prize is a peat pot and seeds to plant!
  • After the 3rd book you read, the prize is a 2-for-1 coupon for use in the Library's coffee shop, the Bookend Coffee Company! Supply is limited, so this prize may be substituted.
  • After the 5th book you read, the prize is a window cling or key chain.
  • After the 7th book you read, the prize is a Friends of the Library tote bag.

Your registration automatically enters you for a chance to win one of four $25 grand prize gift certificates for the following businesses:

  • Schack Art Center
  • Wicked Cellars (You must be 21 or over for this prize option)
